Terms of Use

These conditions govern use of this website. Visiting a page, reading its content, or submitting a search means that you accept all terms below. Do not continue using the site if you disagree with them.

NO FCRA USE. This privately operated website is not affiliated with a local, Louisiana, or federal government agency. Neither we nor our advertising partners offer a service for credit, employment, tenant, insurance, or other decisions regulated by the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA). The site points readers to St. Charles Parish and Louisiana criminal-record resources. It is neither a private-investigation firm nor a consumer reporting agency.

1. What This Website Is

This is a private reference site with no government ties. We do not keep official criminal records, obtain records for visitors, perform official checks, or submit filings.

Our pages direct readers to the St. Charles Parish Sheriff's Office, Clerk of Court and 29th Judicial District Court, Louisiana State Police Bureau of Criminal Identification and Information, and Louisiana State Police State Sex Offender and Child Predator Registry. Louisiana Public Records Law, La. R.S. 44:1 et seq., applies to public custodians, and La. R.S. 15:587 controls state criminal-history dissemination. Neither law makes this site an official source.

2. Rules for Using This Site

As a condition of access, you must not:

  • Use bots, scrapers, or other automated access tools
  • Violate any federal, Louisiana, or local law
  • Threaten, stalk, or harass a person with information found here
  • Rely on site content for employment, housing, credit, or insurance decisions
  • Attempt unauthorized entry into any system or account
  • Disrupt performance or interfere with another visitor's access

3. No Harassment, Stalking, or Discrimination

You may not use this site's information or a linked tool to stalk, harass, threaten, intimidate, or discriminate against anyone. Misuse may also violate law. This prohibition is especially important for data from the Louisiana State Police State Sex Offender and Child Predator Registry. Registry information supports public-safety awareness and does not authorize vigilantism, contact, employment blacklisting, or housing discrimination.

4. We Are Not a Consumer Reporting Agency

We are not a consumer reporting agency under the FCRA. We do not generate background checks, credit reports, or consumer reports of any kind. Neither we nor our advertising partners provide services built for screening job applicants, reviewing rental applications, calculating insurance rates, or judging creditworthiness. You agree not to use data from this site or any linked tool to:

  • Decide whether to hire or fire someone
  • Screen potential renters or housing applicants
  • Judge creditworthiness or set insurance premiums
  • Determine who qualifies for licenses, permits, or government programs
  • Do anything else that falls under FCRA rules

A check for an FCRA-regulated purpose must come from an authorized, FCRA-compliant provider or the proper official process through the Louisiana State Police Bureau of Criminal Identification and Information.

5. No Legal Advice

Site content is not legal advice. General descriptions of St. Charles Parish records cannot determine how a charge, conviction, warrant, or Louisiana expungement rule applies to an individual matter. Consult a Louisiana-licensed attorney for advice.

6. No Warranties

All site content is supplied "as is." We make no promise that:

  • The information here is accurate, complete, or current at any given time
  • The site will stay up and running without interruptions
  • Our pages are free of errors, bugs, or security holes
  • Results from our partner search tools will be thorough or accurate

Criminal records can change when charges are filed, amended, dismissed, made confidential by expungement, or otherwise updated. Gaps cannot be ruled out. No page is an official statement of the sheriff, court, Clerk, or Louisiana agency.

7. Third-Party Services and Links

Links may lead to sheriff pages, court portals, Louisiana agencies, legal-aid organizations, or outside search services. We do not operate those destinations and are not responsible for their content, privacy practices, prices, or availability. Their own terms apply.

8. Intellectual Property

St. Charles Parish Criminal History or its content partners own the site's text, graphics, logos, and code. Written permission is required to copy, distribute, modify, or create derivative material.

9. Limits on Our Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for damages arising from site use, including reliance on information here or from a linked service.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, demands, or proceedings caused by your site use or breach of these terms, including related legal fees and costs.

11. Governing Law

Louisiana law governs these terms. Any dispute arising from site use must be brought in a court located in Louisiana.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these terms. A revision takes effect when the updated text is posted here.

13. Cutting Off Access

We may restrict or terminate site access at any time and without advance notice.

14. Severability

If a court finds one provision invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect. The affected language will be modified only as needed to make it enforceable.

15. Questions

Questions about these conditions may be submitted through the Contact page.
